DECEMBER WISH LIST!!

HO! HO! HO! Merry Christmas..

yay!! This is my favorite month of the year :) well.. ALL happens in just 1 month. YES! My Birthday, Christmas, giving gifts, parties and of course BIG SALE! lol I know it freaks you out when December is coming. This season is one of the MUST go to SHOPPING season hahaha SALE is coming everywhere BIG DISCOUNT and FREEBIES. Though we don't have Black Friday here in Philippines but we have a MIDNIGHT SALE NATIONWIDE every DECEMBER. So this is the time to get ready and go shopping..

I'm sharing my MUST HAVE this Christmas!

1. First is this aztec print cardigan. I really wanted this since October but I cant find one here in Philippines. Though I can buy it through online but Im too scared to do that. I hate Expectation (I want to see it first), the shipping cost one dress (too expensive) lol and It takes a week to have it or worst it take forever to have it. Yah! there's too many reason why I hate online shopping, but in the other side you can always find a TRUST WORTHY Online shop that meet your satisfaction. :)

I found one similar to this at SM but It is just a normal cardigan but they have the same aztec print, sad to say I don't like the texture. I really want this style!! Long cardigan perfect for winter. If you wanted to buy, you can shop at Ebay, Polyvore and Loveitsomuch.

and I also wanted to have this Leather jacket

2. Im really obsess with sweater right now. Though I bought four sweaters last week but it wasn't enough. Yah! I splurge for sweaters and Im guilty about it. I cant help it because they're too comfy and a must have for this season.

I love the printed sweaters, You can find one at Forever21, Terranova and even in our Local store. What Im looking for is a Christmas sweater. Like this one..

Isn't that cute? grrr.. I want!!

3. This third must have is what Im chasing for 5 years now --HYPNOSE LANCOME. This was a gift from special someone before. The first time I smell it I fell in love with this perfume. Until now I cant get over it. It really smell so good, its like you're living in the lap of luxury lol. My mom and I always ask our family friend who sell authentic perfume if they have Hypnose Lancome available but dont don't have this fragrance. I already Email Lancome PH where I can buy Hypnose Lancome here in Philippines and they respond immediately that the Lancome Hypnose is not available for the moment.

Theres still hope!! there are too many individual who sell authentic perfume here in Philippines. But sad to know they dont have Hypnose Lancome AS OF NOW. I think this will be forever in my wish list. :/ Still chasing..

4. Speaking of scents my current obsession are CANDLES. Yes! SCENTED CANDLES!! Who doesn't love if your house/room smells like cookies, season, sweets, foods etc. It makes you craaaaazy!! I first hear it on YouTube my fave YouTubers always talks about scented candles. Though its quite hard to find scented candles here in Philippines and its kinda unusual to always have a scented candle in our home because other refer to use air freshener. I just wanted to share how it makes me feel good, it helps me to sleep well, it brings positive vibes. I totally In love with it. I swear you'll love it too.

What I wanna have is Yankee Christmas cookie scent. Smell very delicious, perfect for Christmas but Yankee is not available in Philippines, as well as Bath and Body works. :/ Though you can still find individuals who sell scented candle mostly on Instagram.

Good thing we have Mainstays available here (you can find it on Handyman). I love Pumpkin spice!

5. Shiseido Concealer -- gosh!! Mom and I totally freaks out when we first test it on our face and got home. The concealer lasts all day! it brightens your eye, it totally cover dark circle and acne. I am really amazed and you cant feel cakey. Two thumbs up for this!! yah! its in my wish list because it cost too much for me, for a tiny concealer? tsk! Impossible to splurge for this!! LOL But it is a must have..if you need concealer.

6. STUDDED BAG!! I know.. A very beautiful kind of bag, a studded one. I always wanted to collect bags but I get disappointed every time I keep them for so long because the bag always got flaws after a year. I think its the quality and the brand itself. I research about bags - if you wanted to have that bag forever you should buy an expensive one, you should know first the materials they used, you should know the different types of leathers and you should buy a bag from a brand that specialized bag. Though its gonna be a big splurge, but for sure it is going to be WORTH IT!!

I wanted to have a studded bag this year. I already told my auntie and my father about this brands.. lol I hope they'll give it to me before or after Christmas. #crossfingers

Either one of these..
Alexander Wang - Rocco Duffel
Valentino - Rockstud

Its okay for me to have replica as long as it is a REAL leather and Europe copy.

7. BOOTS!! I wanted a pair of boots for so long. GOSH!! but still boots are rare in Philippines and quite expensive. Zzzz

Of course the studded boots!! :)

Knee High Boots - Tory Burch

The Elegant Boots from Office to Night out party

The High End boots - Chanel

8. Concert Ticket - How I wish I can attend Moment of Clarity World Tour this Dec. 12, 2013 :( I am surely gonna missed it.. huhuhu Zedd

9.  Beach break - I need to have a break even for just 1 day. Too many problems that I've encounter this year. I just wanna have a stress free moment before another year of stress and problems 2014.

But still Thankful that God guide me through out this year.
"People who encounter big problems, always get a huge blessings."

10. Birthday sweets - hahaha!! I wanna eat anything sweet on my Birthday :) I wanna have a pastries party lol. I always crave for sweets. yummyness!

NO DIET. EAT ALL YOU LIKE!!

DREAM! WISH! There's NO impossible things if you really wanted it.

XOXO

10 Things you should know in your 20s

  1. Learn How to Manage Your Budget: Most women start taking care of their own finances at this age. Learning how to manage a budget for rent, groceries, utilities, while also setting aside a little “fun money” and a little savings can be difficult. I’ve found that tracking your monthly income and all your ancillary costs can help you better understand what you’re spending so you know what you’re able to save. There are actually several apps to help you keep track of that. This is also a time to think ahead and start your 401K. If you work for a company that offers this type of plan, be sure to ask your HR department to help you set it up.

  2. Interview Like a Boss: Your 20s are a prime time to start your career and interviewing well is a key component to that process.  Even if you don’t land a job right away, if you are a good interviewer it can make a big impact since companies will often remember you months (or even years) ahead when another position arises.  Interviews are also important for networking purposes and building relationships across the business world. The bottom line? Take advantage of every interview now as it made lead to opportunities in the future!

  3. Keep Your Skin Young: While your skin might look great right now (this is what we call your “post-acne and pre-wrinkles era”), this period can determine what your skin will look like in your 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. To keep wrinkles and damaged skin at bay, it’s important to always wear sunscreen...Yup—always! That means during winter, too. Educate yourself on SPF numbers and what they mean, and make it an everyday process to lather protection to keep your youthful glow. Another “must” is washing your face every night. Going to bed with your makeup on not only clogs pores; it dulls your complexion and can cause dryness or wrinkles. No thank you!

  4. Cherish Your Friendships: These years are usually filled with a lot of dating, a lot of love, along with a lot of time mending broken hearts. It’s important to realize that guys will come and go, but a solid group of girlfriends will be there to help you through it all—forever.  Even when you do find the one you’ll spend the rest of your life with; remember that your friends will be the support system you need through the good and the bad. The lesson here? Don’t forego important friendships in lieu of a relationship… Create balance. Good friends are hard to find, and if you ask me, losing a bestie is harder than losing a guy.

  5. Dress to Impress: At this point in our lives, we have fully grown into our bodies…which means there are no more excuses for trying to squeeze into that mini skirt you wore senior year of high school. It’s time to accept your body and all of its beautifully unique assets by dressing accordingly. Your 20s are a time to experiment and learn what works best for your body type. Find out what kind of jeans are the right fit for your figure, what size dress is most appropriate for your shape, and embrace what you are working with… Accepting your shape will help you look and feel your best. Plus confidence is key for any 20-something who is about to take on the world :-)

  6. Don’t Make the Same Mistake Twice: People often say that your 20s are a time to make mistakes. But what’s important about this is not the act of actually making the mistake itself, but rather learning from the lessons these mistakes teach us. Whether it’s a slip up in a relationship or at your job, don’t get down on yourself that it happened… Instead, take it as a lesson learned and promise yourself it won’t happen again.

  7. Speak Up for Yourself: As you begin to take on your independence in your 20s, it’s important to learn when to stand up for yourself.  Get yourself the raise you deserve, tell your friend when she’s treating you poorly, let that barista at Starbucks know when she gave you the wrong drink. If you never say anything, nothing will ever change, and those negative things will build up. Remember that you’re a strong, beautiful and independent woman, and speaking up for yourself is important in leading the life you desire.

  8. Take a Compliment: As we talked about before, confidence is the key to taking on the world as a 20-something. Part of that confidence is knowing how to take a compliment. When someone tells you you’re beautiful, accept it and say thank you (and maybe even blush a little). Accepting a compliment unveils your confidence and comfort in your own skin, which is an attractive quality for a woman… That kind of self-assuredness can do anything from land you the perfect job to the man of your dreams.

  9. You Don’t Always Have to be Right: With the confidence that comes in our 20s, sometimes it’s hard to know when to set your stubbornness aside. It takes a lot of biting your tongue to learn this lesson, but you don’t always have to be right. You will come across situations where it’s incredibly hard to do, particularly when you know you’re right. But sometimes it’s best to save your relationship with that person (especially if it’s in the work place) than to hold the upper hand. Your 20s are a time to learn when it’s okay to stand up for yourself, but also understand the moments when you just need to back away.

  10. Don’t Lose the Child in You:  I have to say, through all of these points, my #1 thing to remember is to never lose sight of yourself. You grow up a lot in your 20s, but you’re still young enough to have fun and bring out the little bit of kid that’s still left in you. You’ll have plenty of time to continue to grow up, settle down, have children, and worry about spending too much money. But your 20s are only a stepping-stone to that point. So go have a crazy night out with your girlfriends, get set up on a blind date, buy that expensive pair of shoes you can’t really afford, be weird and goofy, and go on adventures! These are the memories you’ll cherish when you look back on these years.

I hope these little bits of advice inspire you take on your 20s full-throttle.  Don’t hold back on all the opportunities these years will bring, and you’ll find these are some of the best times of your life. Stay strong, stay beautiful, stay confident but most importantly stay YOU.

LIFE with APPLE and LEMON

LIFE with APPLE
While an apple a day might keep the doctor away, it may be the perfect substitute for your morning java too!

In addition to drinking a glass of hot lemon water in the morning, our dear girl began eating a sliced up apple with breakfast. And believe it or not, she felt as awake and energized as she did post-coffee. What!?

We looked into the matter and sure enough, it’s been said that the fructose (a natural sugar) in apples can provide an energy boost equivalent to that of coffee. Crazy, right? Additionally, apples have carbs, which are used to fuel the body and due to their high fiber content, the body absorbs the sugar slowly, thus providing your bod with a steady stream of energy (sans sugar coma) as opposed to a sudden jolt of java. (To read more about this topic, check out the sources list at the very bottom of this post!)

Even if you can’t forgo your morning latte, it’s never a bad idea to include an apple in your daily diet routine. There’s a reason that old “apple a day” saying is around—apples are just plain good for you!

If you’re looking to give up coffee this year, we highly recommend giving our apple-a-day trick a try. While you won’t feel that instant coffee buzz, you will be energized and properly fueled to kick start your day on a healthy note.

Personally, I usually have a big cup of green tea in the mornings along with an apple. It always gets me going!

LIFE with LEMON
Lemon and water are a match made in heaven... I've started drinking it every day and feel more energized than ever. After learning about the slew of health benefits associated with drinking water and freshly squeezed lemon juice, I decided to make it a part of my daily diet. Lemons are packed with natural vitamins and minerals that are key to your inner and outer beauty regime as well as your general health.

Here are three reasons why you should pair hot water with lemons ladies:

  • It's a natural energizer! It hydrates and oxygenates the body so it feels revitalized and refreshed.
  • It's cleansing. According to NaturalNews.com, the citric acid in lemons helps maximize enzyme function, which stimulates the liver and aids in detoxification.
  • It aids in digestion. Not only will this killer combination relive indigestion, it will also help flush you out.

First Date :)

1. Picking the venue.
If you are given the task of selecting a restaurant or activity, pick something that isn't too over-the-top or expensive. Opt for a something reasonably priced. When it comes to restaurants, pick a place with a wide variety of menu options. (You never know what your mystery man palate requires...he might be vegan or allergic to shellfish!)

2. Meeting up.
Ideally, the guy should pick you up from your home and drive you to the destination of the date. However, if this is not possible, meet at the location and don't be a second late. It's also a good idea to give a confirmation call the day before the date to make sure everyone is on the same page. This way you can avoid any confusion.

3. At the dining table.
Throughout the date, sit up straight and maintain good posture. Slouching and leaning on your elbows is considered rude and unladylike. Use your best table manners throughout the meal (I'll do a blog on restaurant dining etiquette soon!). And absolutely, positively do not look at your cellphone. It communicates boredom and disinterest.

4. The conversation.
Ask questions about your date and listen. It's in bad taste to talk about yourself the entire time. (Remember that episode of Sex & the City when Carrie nervously blabs on about herself to Aidan throughout their entire date? Don't do that.) When in doubt, ask him a question. If you're afraid the conversation will be dull, catch up on current events and pop culture as fallback topics. A few areas of conversation to avoid include politics, religion, money, previous relationships, deep dark secrets and the economy. Most importantly, never be critical in conversation or bad mouth anyone.

5. Ordering.
Be considerate of what you order. Just because you're on a date doesn't give you a free pass to order the most expensive thing on the menu. Instead, pick something at midrange price point. If you're still unsure, take a cue from your date: Ask him what he is ordering and pick something of equivalent or lesser value. If your date orders an appetizer or starter salad, follow suit and order something to start with as well. That way, you will be eating at the same time and can avoid the awkward "Do I dig in?" or "I don't want to sit here and watch you eat." This same rule of thumb goes for cocktails as well. If you decide to order an alcoholic drink, keep it to a minimum as they can get pricy and you definitely should not get drunk. Let your date learn about you in a sober state. Lastly, order items that are easy to eat and do not require your hands (no sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti etc.). I also suggest staying away from foods with excessive herbs and leafy greens. It's not worth risking the embarrassment living through 45 minutes of an intimate dinner with oregano lodged between your front teeth. Finally, take it easy on the garlic and onions too.

6. Eating.
Put your knife to work! As you make your way through your meal, cut each bite into a manageable size to avoid looking like a hungry baby bird. Don't cut it up into pieces first and then eat, instead cut as you go. If you do not finish your meal, do not take it to go. Doggie bags are considered passè on a first date. (I wish I had known this when I started dating!)

5. Bill.
A gentleman should always pay the bill. It may sound old-fashioned, but it's proper etiquette. The best way to navigate the bill is to subtly offer to pay. It's important to make sure your date is aware you didn't go on the date just for a free meal. The best way to do this is to reach for your purse when the bill comes to the table. Most likely your date will tell you not to worry about it and will take care of paying. If he doesn't stop you, don't be hurt. At this point, just split the bill. It should be noted that some guys find it insulting when you offer to pay so this is definitely something you need to feel out. Personally, I suggest sticking with the "subtle offer" since it's the best way to gauge the situation.

6. The goodbye.
Some dates go really well and the chemistry is on point, while others fail to impress. I suppose the silver lining of a bad date is that you walk away with a great story... Needless to say, for most, "the goodbye" is the most puzzling part of the entire date. By the end you should have a pretty good idea whether or not there will be another date. If you're hoping to rendezvous again, give him a warm hug, thank him for dinner and imply that you'd love to do it again soon. Save your kisses for date #2 (unless he is a cheek kisser). Otherwise, if you can't get away from him fast enough, shake his hand, thank him for dinner and leave it at that.

I hope you ladies find this helpful!

Tuesday Ten: Foods That Beat the Blues BY: LAUREN CONRAD

This ARTICLE really help me when I'm in a mood swing. When I'm tired in work, stressed out and when I'm hungry. You should read this and be sure to save this.

1. Feeling stressed? Eat chocolate.
Yep, you read that right. Chocolate not only tastes great, it also helps to reduce stress hormones that can make you moody. Even eating a tiny bit has proven to reduce anxiety and keep you level-headed. Opt for dark chocolate, which is packed with more antioxidants than milk chocolate.

2. Feeling anxious? Eat salmon.
Foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to help calm nerves and keep you in a happier state of mind in general. Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3s, so eat up. Plus, it will give your skin a glow and make your hair shiny too!

3. Feeling angry? Drink green tea.
I think that everyone should make green tea a staple in their daily diet. Besides lowering your cholesterol and helping to prevent cancer, it can also keep you calm, concentrated and focused too. If there’s something that’s eating away at you, brew yourself a nice warm cup of green tea. You’ll be sipping up a ton of antioxidants and calming down at the same time.

4. Feeling sluggish? Eat spinach.
Besides being amazing for your health, spinach will also give you a major midday energy boost. According to iVillage, this leafy green has enough nutrients to help increase blood flow to your brain and help you recall information, so a spinach salad is the perfect lunch to pack for work or school.

5. Feeling cranky? Eat a handful of berries.
Eating a handful of blueberries will give you body a big dose of antioxidants, which will keep your neural pathways running smoothly, promoting positive energy. New research even shows that compounds in the berries help to re-write our genetic code so that the body becomes its own antioxidant factory, churning out feel-good enzymes in the brain, according to What’s Cooking America.

6. Feeling sad? Eat a bowl of cereal.
For those downer days when you need a little happiness boost, a bowl of healthy cereal and milk can do just the trick. Sometimes we get sad because our bodies aren’t getting the right vitamins. Vitamin D, which is in milk and healthy cereals, helps to promote happy thoughts in your brain. A good way to give your body this boost every day is to have a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

7. PMSing? Eat eggs.
We’ve all been there. Your hormones are out of whack and nothing is making you feel better. While you might want to reach for ice cream or salty chips to cure your cravings when it’s that time of the month, these foods can actually make you feel grumpier because they won’t give your body the right nutrition (more like dehydration and added bloating). Consider scrambled eggs on whole grain toast your new best-PMS-food-friend. Eggs have happiness-boosting nutrients, and healthy carbs like whole grain breads are a healthy way to replace your cravings for bagels and chips.

8. Feeling ornery? Eat an orange.
Orange you glad that oranges boost your mood? This citrus fruit is packed with nutrients and vitamin C, which helps to pump oxygen through your body to your brain. The citric acid will also recharge your system. Oranges are such an easy snack to bring anywhere that there’s no reason not to carry one when you have a case of the grumps.

9. Feeling worried? Eat a bowl of chicken soup.
Everyone loves a bowl of chicken soup. It’s one of my ultimate comfort foods, and I included it in my list of foods that boost your immune system. But did you know that it makes you less stressed too? According to WebMD, a hearty bowl of chicken soup with veggies has the water-fiber-protein trifecta that fills you up before it fills you out. I suggest making your chicken soup homemade so that you can add in as many dark, leafy green veggies as possible for an extra boost.

10. Feeling unsettled? Eat a PB & J.
Carbs tend to get a bad rap. Whenever I feel anxious about something, I find that having a snack with some carbs helps to settle my stomach and mind. Peanut butter and jelly on a half an English muffin is a comforting snack that actually helps to raise your levels of serotonin, the brain’s natural antidepressant. A snack that is a little bit indulgent and comforting but not too unhealthy will satisfy your cravings and make you feel a little better.

I hope you all learned something new! Be sure to bookmark this page and make it your go-to guide for when you need to beat the blues. Also, while these foods might be quick fixes when you’re having a moody moment, if you’re really upset about a big issue talk it out with a friend or trusted family member.

FACT: What Your Cravings Are Really Telling You

I've always heard that craving salty or sweet foods can actually be your body’s way of telling you it needs something. The other day, I had a serious sweet tooth and before I knew it I found myself researching what my craving really meant. What I discovered was that there is a pretty surprising list of cravings and their real meanings. It’s fascinating! It is also very helpful to see what your body really needs (hint: it’s not actually those French fries).

1. If you're craving SWEETS...

It means your body really needs chromium, carbon phosphorous, sulfur, and tryptophan. Get these by filling up on, fresh fruit, cheese and sweet potatoes when you have a sweet tooth. This craving may also mean you’re tired, according to Shape.com. Evaluate how much you’re sleeping lately if you find yourself wanting sweets. Instead of heading for the chocolate cake, take a nap if you can. Or, go for a walk to boost your energy levels.

2. If you're craving CARBS...

It means your body needs nitrogen, which is found in high-protein foods like fish, meat, nuts, and beans. Eat a turkey burger, a handful of almonds, or a black bean burrito bowl (black beans, corn, pico de gallo, guacamole and brown rice). You might also be craving carbs because you’re trying to cut them out of your diet completely. If this is the reason, make sure you’re eating every food group in moderation to prevent a big, unplanned carb-fest that will leave you feeling way worse than, say, an open-faced sandwich.

3. If you’re craving FRENCH FRIES, SODA, and PIZZA…

And other junk food, it means your body needs calcium. Instead, fix a kale salad with steamed broccoli, chicken, breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (um, yum.). It might not sound quite as good as those French fries at first, but it will leave you feeling way better, not to mention guilt-free.

4. If you’re craving CAFFEINE…

It means your body needs salt and iron. To get these nutrients the healthy way, eat lean meats like chicken or turkey, eggs, or black cherries, surprisingly. If you can, a great option here would be to make an omelet with turkey and veggies, with a handful of black cherries on the side. Craving caffeine can also mean you’re actually just really thirsty or dehydrated, according to Huffington Post. Drink an entire glass of water before you reach for that second (or third) cup of coffee—you might realize you don’t even need it.

5. If you’re craving SALTY foods…

It means your body needs chloride, which is essential in order for your body to maintain healthy digestion and keep your electrolyte levels in check, according to Nutritional Wellness. Avoid super salty junk food like potato chips and eat goat’s milk yogurt or fish instead. I would recommend making a tuna fish sandwich or salmon salad for lunch with goat’s yogurt as a snack the next time you have a salt craving.

Things you should know.

1. The important questions can’t be answered.
If all of life’s most challenging moments had answers, everyone would be going through the motions without actually living. Do not get frustrated when you face a tricky situation that does not have answers. The future is exciting and scary for a reason. So instead of worrying, choose the course you want your life to take, and then work hard to make it happen.

2. Life is a marathon, not a race.
This lesson may sound cliché, but most of us try to sprint through life—whether we realize it or not. There is no “first place” in life. Making comparisons will only leave you feeling unhappy, unappreciative, and unaware of how many blessings you have. To be the happiest you can be, concentrate on fulfilling your own personal goals in the timeline that is right for you. People will get promotions, get engaged, and start families at completely different times. There's no right or wrong time for any of those things.

3. Stand up for yourself.
There is a graceful yet assertive way to ask for what you want. Learn this and you will have unlocked the key to getting what you want in life without burning bridges along the way.

4. Worrying about things you cannot control is the biggest waste of your time.
Throughout your entire life there will be situations that you want to control but the outcome is 100% out of your hands. This is for a reason. If we could control everything, life would be one pre-written story. It wouldn't be exciting, and you wouldn't learn a single thing. You can live a stress-free life if you learn to let go of the things you cannot control. Because when we do try to control situations, we often times look back years later and wonder why we wasted so much time on them.

5. Exercise isn't about numbers.
Once you realize that treating your body well and being healthy isn't about being “perfect,” you will free your mind. Exercising is about getting your blood running through your body, pumping oxygen to your brain, strengthening your heart and muscles, and reaping the wonderful benefits of those mood-boosting endorphins. You will find that the more you accept your natural physique and embrace the figure you were given, the more you will fall in love with your body and treat it like a temple.

6. Make your mother proud.
When it comes to deciding right from wrong, ask yourself if your mother (or another mentor) would be proud of you for making the decision at hand. It can be easy to lose sight of where we came from, who brought us into the world, and the sacrifices that our loved ones made to ensure we would be happy. This doesn't mean you should hold back from taking risks or trying new things—that is what life is about. Just make sure you keep your moral compass in mind. Honor your family by making choices they would approve of and I can guarantee you will look back with fewer regrets.

7. The happiest people have low expectations, few desires, and great appreciation for the little things.
Every so often, we are all guilty of focusing on things we don’t have, things we want, and things that aren’t perfect in our lives. These thoughts will only lead to an ungrateful mentality, and the never-ending search for a “perfect” life that doesn't exist. It is great to have goals and things to look forward to. Don’t get me wrong—I love saving up for a brand new purse as much as any girl! But I find that I am much happier when I focus on the small blessings and the things I have instead of worrying about what I don’t have. Take a few minutes each day to yourself and think about how grateful you are for your family, your friends, having food on the table, and all the other small pleasures in life that go unnoticed.

8. Helping your community will enrich your life.
It’s easy to get wrapped up with doing something that makes your resume look well rounded. Sure, saying you were involved in a charity might help you look good when you apply to college or go to job interviews. But community service will also add a special touch to your life. You will gain valuable insight, become more grounded, and gain an understanding for people in ways you never thought you could.

9. Never settle.
One of the best pieces of advice I've ever received was to never settle in relationships, friendships, your career, or your dreams. Never accept less than what you think you deserve, and aim for bigger and better (because you will probably get it!). You never want to look back and think, “I could have done more.” You can do more…right now. Stop saying “someday.” Start saying “today.”

10. There is no such thing as a perfect life.
The overall goal in many people’s lives seems to find the perfect partner, reach the perfect weight, have the perfect job, or wear the perfect wardrobe. The problem is, none of these things exist. Everything has its flaws, and most of those flaws are what makes your life exciting, challenging, and, in fact, pretty perfect if you look at it the right way. Your boyfriend is going to make mistakes, your job will have its down days, and you will have moments where you want nothing more than a full-fledged makeover. Take these moments as positive opportunities to make exciting changes instead of dwelling on the negative aspects. And, enjoy the next chapter that awaits you after these changes do happen.

INEXPENSIVE WORKOUT

I'm not living in the lap of luxury so I need to know whats the cheaper way, how to stay fit. Going in the gym is way more expensive than buying a treadmill. So here are some tip to stay fit.

1. Start training.
Use your backyard to do your exercise and how about your room, living room or even your kitchen . well not enough space is not a problem. You can have a simple exercise in just 1m x 1m.

Sign up for a 5k race, a half marathon, or, if you’re really serious, a marathon. It will give you a reason to get outside and run—which is free! Even better—choose a race that donates it’s proceeds to charity and you will be running for a great cause. If you can’t afford the entry fee, reach out to friends and family for donations to help sponsor you. You will be getting in shape and spread good karma at the same time.

2. Watch workout DVDs or YouTube.
This trick may not be new, but it sure it a great bang for your buck. The best thing about a set of workout DVDs is once you buy them, you have basically invested in a 24-hour gym in your very own home. You might need to pick up a few free weights and a yoga mat, but it’s well worth it.

Try watching Exercise from YouTube. You can check out Youtube workout videos for free.

3. Use your phone.
Never underestimate the power of a smart phone—they can do almost anything! While you may use yours primarily for texting, instagramming and emailing, you can actually download some apps that will help you to stay healthy too. Moves is an app that tracks your steps each day and lets you know how active you are.

4. Make a challenge.
Starting up challenges within your office, group of friends, or family is a great way to keep you motivated to stay fit throughout the day. Go ahead and encourage your group to try a 30-day crunch challenge: on the first day, do 20 crunches at some point during your day, and increase the number of crunches by 5 every day until you are at 150 crunches on day 30. You will have toned abs before you know it.
Kick start a walking contest within your company and compete with departments to see who can walk the most over an entire month. Adding a little friendly competition into your fitness routine is a fun way to stay motivated and be active.
Challenge your family to play sports with you like Badminton, tennis, basketball etc.

5. Write it down.
Another trick that I’ve found helps me stay fit is putting my goals and achievements down on paper. When I have a big vacation or a special event coming up, I make a workout calendar and hang it up somewhere I see it every day. I mark a check for the days that I workout, which makes me want to get as many checks as possible. Some people also find it helpful to keep a food journal. Writing down everything you eat during the day can help to gain insight about the types of food you are eating and how much of it.

And don’t forget that taking advantage of the great outdoors is a great way to get moving without spending a dime. Go hiking, swimming, running or biking—or even taking a long walk with your girlfriend will help you to log in some exercise.

My favorite way to stay fit on a budget is popping in a workout DVD. What’s yours?

Healthy Change

I'm into healthy food diet right now. I'm sick of my BIG belly!! Like every people saw me assume I am pregnant because I have Bloated Belly which I'm not happy!! :(

Last year I decided to go at the gym but unfortunately I'm not enjoying it. It is so expensive for me to go everyday at the gym and enroll for a month or a year. Very expensive!! because I'm still studying that time, I don't have enough money to buy gym clothes, shoes and of course my daily expense to go there. I understand loving the feeling you get after working out all those endorphins. But going there? Its the WORST! hahaha And the FACT that I'm not enjoying it.. I will never appreciate the GYM thing!! After a month I quit! I'm under depression that time because of my personal issue including my health (and that's another story) so I eat too much because I can only forget my problem by eating and drinking too much. I eat UNHEALTHY foods, drinking SODA, BEER and SMOKING!! After I over come my depression. I search for good stuff to do in my life. Like HEALTHY DIET, GUIDE, REMINDERS ETC.

First I list down what's IMPORTANT THINGS that I need to cut out, things that I need to maintain, things that I need to CHANGE. Change is Essential so don't worry about it BUT it should be a GOOD CHANGE. I decided to get in shape for my whole life like this will be my lifestyle.

After a month of reading, researching, gathering my learnings in my BOOK. (yah! I have this book that I list down all things that I should always remember, if you see my previous Blog.) I told myself that I really need to change for a better and cut out my bad habit. So I decided to be a better person. :)

In my healthy Diet I do a workout at least twice a week BUT not really heavy workout. Walking, Push ups, and do your own chores is way of Discipline. Cut Out SODA, BEER and Partying. Yah! I totally STOP everything and you can save money by doing that. Always drink water every after 15 mins. Eat vegetables or healthy foods as possible. Sleep early and it should be minimum 8 hours of sleep.

Heres what Flat Belly Foods (what I usually have on my plate)

  1. Raspberries (as well as strawberries and blueberries) are packed with fiber, which keeps you feeling full longer (and--ahem--more regular). Plus they are packed with vitamin C, which is good for your immune system as well as your skin.

  2. Kale is a natural anti-inflammatory; it helps reduce bloat and it also revs up the metabolism because it is a flavoring. Eat up!

  3. Oatmeal maintains blood sugar levels so you don't crash and binge. Plus it's full of fiber so it will keep you satiated.

  4. Low-fat yogurt not only has calcium, but it is also a probiotic that fights fat storage and prevents bloat.

  5. Almonds are packed with healthy fats that reduce food cravings while building muscle. Consider almonds the ultimate power snack.

  6. Salmon is full of omega-3 fatty acids, which help bump up your metabolism so your body burns fat faster and more efficiently.

  7. Watermelon is--just as you expected--full of water (about 92% to be exact). It actually helps flush extra water from your system, which in turn reduces puffiness.

  8. Garlic is a magical thing. It helps reduce fat in the liver, it detoxifies and it lessens bloating. To maximize its benefits, take a few fresh slivers of garlic and sandwich them between two thinly sliced apple wedges and smear them with a little honey. Eat this before bed to reap all the benefits.

  9. Avocado is loaded with lots of healthy fats that burn fat while providing your body with energy.

  10. Quinoa is a magical whole grain that is packed with protein (11 grams for just a half cup) and fiber so it keeps you feeling full longer.

*I will make a Blog if theres a BIG progress on my Healthy change.

Talk to you soon!! :)
